Galaxy S26 Ultra Price Set to Rise in India

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G, currently the company’s most powerful flagship phone in India, is poised for a price increase, according to tipster Abhishek Yadav on X (formerly Twitter).

Rising Memory Costs Drive Price Hike

The price adjustment is part of a broader trend among smartphone manufacturers responding to escalating memory costs. Samsung has already increased prices on its A, F, and M series devices, but a price increase for the S26 Ultra – the company’s most expensive non-foldable phone – will have a more significant impact on consumers.

Current Pricing

Currently, the base model of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G (12GB + 256GB configuration) is priced at Rs 1,39,999 in India. While Samsung has not officially confirmed the upcoming price hike, it typically refrains from commenting until the change is reflected on its website.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8 may also see price increases, though no specific details have been released. A recent price hike for older iPhones, with the iPhone 17 base model increasing from Rs 82,900 to Rs 99,900, demonstrates a similar trend in the market.
