A key highlight of the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is its display. The 6.84-inch AMOLED panel offers a 1.5K resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits. Xiaomi has also included features like a 3,200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, and Wet Touch 2.0 for enhanced usability.

Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, launched on May 7, 2026. According to benchmark tests, the chipset achieves a score of over 1,012,134 in AnTuTu 11, with 1099 points for single-core and 3481 points for multi-core performance in Geekbench 6, suggesting smooth performance for gaming and demanding applications.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max features a triple-camera system, led by a 50MP OmniVision OV51A main sensor with a wide f/1.5 aperture. It’s accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a feature that some competing devices, like the Vivo S2, have omitted. A 32MP front-facing camera handles selfies.

The phone is equipped with a substantial 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 100W fast wired charging. It also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IR blaster. The device runs Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3, built on Android 16, and Xiaomi promises four years of OS upgrades and six years of security patches, extending support through 2032.

Pricing and Availability

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is available in three colour options: Secret Sunrise, Matcha Green, and Stealth Black. Pricing starts at Rs 49,999 for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant, while the 12GB RAM/256GB model is priced at Rs 55,999.
