The device has been confirmed to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor (SM8975), and a recent AnTuTu V12 benchmark result provides a first look at its capabilities.

The OnePlus 16 5G achieved an overall score of 5,384,433 points on AnTuTu V12. This score breaks down as follows:

This positions the OnePlus 16 amongst the highest-performing phones currently listed in AnTuTu’s database, suggesting a significant leap in processing power.
Under the Hood
The impressive score is largely attributed to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, which is built on a cutting-edge 2nm process. Alongside the processor, the OnePlus 16 is expected to offer configurations with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. The display is also anticipated to boast a rapid 185Hz refresh rate.
Software and Camera Expectations
The OnePlus 16 will ship with ColorOS 17, based on Android 17, offering the latest software experience. The device is also expected to feature a powerful camera system, reportedly including a 200MP primary sensor with a 1/1.4-inch sensor size, alongside 50MP ultra-wide-angle and periscope telephoto lenses.
