Vivo is moving forward with plans to launch its X Fold 6 5G foldable phone in India, despite a trend of other brands scaling back premium device releases in the region. The decision comes amid rising costs for memory and components, making India a more challenging market for flagship devices.
X Fold 6 India Launch Date Confirmed
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav on X, the Vivo X Fold 6 5G is scheduled to launch in India on October 6, 2026, at 12 PM. This follows a global launch date of October 1, 2026, meaning the Indian release is just five days later.
Variants and Availability
The phone is expected to be available in multiple configurations, including:
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage
- 12GB RAM + 512GB storage
Customers will be able to choose between Prism Black and Nebula Teal colour options. The device will ship with Android 17 running on top of Origin OS 7.
Key Specifications
Vivo intends to offer the same specifications in India as those available in China. Key features of the X Fold 6 5G include:
