Apple has officially launched the iPhone Duo in India, marking a significant step towards availability for the foldable device first unveiled alongside the iPhone 18 Pro. While announced previously, the iPhone Duo has not been available for immediate purchase – a situation that will change with the start of pre-orders.
Pricing and Variants
The iPhone Duo will be available for pre-order in India starting October 16, 2026, with general availability following on October 23, 2026. Apple describes the iPhone Duo as its most expensive iPhone to date. The device comes in four storage configurations:
- 256GB: Rs 2,99,900
- 512GB: Rs 3,24,900
- 1TB: Rs 3,74,900
- 2TB: Rs 4,49,900
These prices are inclusive of all applicable taxes. The iPhone Duo will be offered in two colour options: Black and White. Bank offers will be available from Axis Bank, American Express, and ICICI Bank.
Key Features and Specifications
Apple states it has redesigned the iOS experience to take full advantage of the iPhone Duo’s versatility. The device is notable for its thin profile. The iPhone Duo is powered by the A20 Pro chip, which Apple claims is its most powerful yet.
The iPhone Duo features a dual-camera system, but notably lacks a telephoto lens. Battery life is estimated at up to 44 hours of video playback on the outer display, decreasing to 31 hours when using the inner display. A charging cable is included in the box, however, a charging brick is not.
Customers can also take advantage of trade-in offers to reduce the purchase price of the iPhone Duo.
