Reliance Jio Infocom one & only pan India BWA spectrum winner has asked Department of Telecommunications (DoT) to provide the company with 10,000 mobile numbers so that the company run the successful trial of Voice over LTE.
Actually the company will run their first trials of VoLTE on locations like Delhi, Mumbai & Jamnagar with an unique number assigned i.e. 83378 from the different number of series assigned by DoT.
Voice over LTE-TD is the technology to be used by Reliance Jio Infocom since the company do not have 2G license under their belt, so the company could not use even CSFB (circuit switch fall back), so SPIRIT-DSP’s VVoIP engine is the secret behind VoIP.
