OPPO India has implemented price increases across four of its smartphone series – the A6 5G, A6x 5G, A6c, and Reno 16c – due to rising costs of components like DRAM and increased logistics expenses. The changes, first noted by Sanju Choudhary, affect multiple configurations within each line.
Price Adjustments by Model
The most significant price hike is for the OPPO Reno 16c, with increases ranging up to Rs 4,000. Here’s a breakdown of the revised pricing:
- 8GB + 128GB: Now Rs 52,999 (previously Rs 49,999)
- 8GB + 256GB: Now Rs 57,999 (previously Rs 53,999)
- 12GB + 256GB: Now Rs 62,999 (previously Rs 59,999)
The OPPO A6 5G has also seen price adjustments. The base 4GB + 128GB variant now costs Rs 29,999, up from Rs 28,999. The 6GB + 128GB and 6GB + 256GB models are now priced at Rs 31,999 and Rs 35,999 respectively, also reflecting increases from their initial launch prices.
For the OPPO A6c, all variants have received a uniform price increase of Rs 1,000. The 4GB + 64GB model is now Rs 18,999, while the 4GB + 128GB version costs Rs 19,999.
Finally, the OPPO A6x 5G (4GB + 64GB) is now priced at Rs 19,999, an increase of Rs 1,000 from its previous price of Rs 18,999.
OPPO has previously adjusted pricing to account for global market conditions, and this latest move reflects the ongoing impact of increased component and logistical costs on smartphone manufacturers.
