Despite appearing premium at first glance, the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G features a plastic back. It sports a flat frame with symmetrical bezels around its 6.83-inch display. The power and volume buttons are located on the right side, while the top edge houses a speaker and an IR blaster – allowing the phone to function as a remote control. The bottom includes a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and a SIM card tray. The phone is available in Purple, Black, and Blue colour options.
Key Features and Limitations
Xiaomi is emphasizing the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G’s impressive battery capacity and robust build quality. The device packs a substantial 9000mAh battery and boasts IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. The rear camera island features a dual-camera setup, with a 50MP sensor highlighted by the company. However, details regarding the front and secondary rear sensors were not shared.
